Pearl care, simply.

Baroque pearls are organic. They want gentle handling, last-on / first-off wear, and a soft cloth more than they want chemicals.

Wearing

  • Put pearls on after perfume, lotion, and hair products.
  • Take them off before swimming, showering, or the gym.
  • Avoid spraying cleaner or sunscreen onto the nacre.

Cleaning

  • Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wearing.
  • Dry fully before storing.
  • Skip ultrasonic cleaners, steam, and household polish.

Storage

  • Keep each piece in its pouch or a lined box.
  • Do not toss pearls in with harder metals or gemstones.
  • Avoid long stretches in a sealed plastic bag.

Archive card

Keep the identity card with the jewelry. The name and number on the card match the gallery entry, so the piece can always be traced back to this house.
